Hello everyone,
We are right in the middle of lupin
season here on the Island and it
is so beautiful to go for a drive
and enjoy their beauty.
They are very hardy plants and grow wild
here in ditches and fields.
I especially love the lupins with
the wild phlox. The colors really
compliment each other.
We had wild phlox in our garden
this year that had reseeded very
prolifically so we spent hours
pulling it out of our beds.
So, although I love it in ditches
not so much in our garden.
These photos are not the best as I took
them yesterday just before the rain and it
was windy.but it does give you a
glimpse of their beauty.
We had a lot of rain in the past 24 hours and I
am grateful for the garden as it had
been awhile since we had a good
rain.
I have some photos of a garden tea
that I hope to share soon.
Hope you are having a good week!
Take care,
Carolyn
